Major Redevelopment at Westmead hospital
Star Electrical has been involve with the Major Redevelopment of Westmead with the Managing Contractor, Thiess since 2004. Star Electrical and its communications subsidiary Commstar Communications has ensured that all electrical and communications are maintained on a 24 x7 basis during the construction of each milestone

Latitude at World Square
The design for “Latitude” at World Square, on the corner of George and Goulburn Streets, Sydney comprises a low-rise office building, a retail complex and a high-rise commercial tower with Ernst & Young as the main tenant. The development has been designed as a showcase project for environmental sustainability with energy efficiency, sun shading, natural ventilation and light being key elements incorporated into its design.

Parramatta Justice Precinct
The Star Group has been successful in tendering for the provision of electrical and communications services for the huge Parramatta Justice Precinct project.

DHL Gateway Project
In late 2004 Commstar Communications won the Data Cabling Contract for Stage 2 of the DHL Sydney Gateway Centre. The Gateway is the new hub for Australia and Oceania regions.

Capital Finance Project

In late 2005 Commstar Communications were awarded the contract with Isis Projects for the Electrical & Communications portion of the fit-out of Capital Finance's new premises at Norwest Business Park, Bella Vista, NSW. The new premises is the new HQ for Capital Finance Australia. Capital Finance is part of the Lloyds Australia Group. Capital Finance is a full spectrum finance company providing finances to a wide range of clients from personnel to corporate.

Andy Selby, Capital Finance's Senior Manager- IT Infrastructure Operations, was very impressed with Commstar's attitude towards achieving an on-time project with quality workmanship and continues to use Commstar for current data cabling and electrical needs.
