Life-Cycle of Design and Construct Electrical and Data Projects
This life-cycle outlines Design and Construct projects which are generally above 5 million dollars for the Electrical and Data portion.
Pre–Design
Star Electrical starts to negotiate pricing with the Developer and/or Builder before the building is commenced.
Concept Design
Star Electrical works with the Architects Electrical Engineers Developer/Builder to finalise the design and pricing.
Detailed Design
Once the Developer/Builder has commenced construction Star Electrical will commenced the detail design and produce drawings to comply with the Developer/Builder and Architects/Engineer’s intention.
Construction – Base Building
Star Electrical will engaged Commstar Communications as their Data Cabling. Initially Base building requirements are installed.
Construction – Fit-out
While the Base Building works is progressing, the main tenant fit-out pricing with the builder commences. By combining the base building construction and the fit-out the overall costs is reduced to Main Tenant
End of Construction-12 Month Warranty Commences.
End of Construction and Commencement of 12 Month Warranty
At the beginning of the warranty period Commstar Communications performs all the warranty work. Also during this warranty period, Commstar Communications will attend to any additional requests by the main tenant or the building owners.
End of the 12 Month Warranty Period
Commstar Communications will continue to serve the needs of the Building owner and the Main Tenants until the building is demolished.
